On the auspicious occasion of Ganeshutsav, the 1.5-day
'Gharguti Ganpati' arrived with great enthusiasm, faith, and grandeur at the
residence of Amarjeet Kaur. This year, the decorations for Ganpati Bappa at the
Kaur family’s home were exceptionally captivating, lovingly crafted through the
remarkable artistic vision and hard work of Tanya Ajit Charndeep Jadhav.
Highlights of the Decoration:
The decoration created by Tanya Ajit Charndeep Jadhav is
based on a 'Royal Orange and Gold' theme. The mandap was given a regal touch
using silky saffron curtains and hanging golden bells. A charming border of
dense orange, red, and golden flowers adorned the upper section and the front
altar. Small brass bells suspended from the ceiling, along with the soft
background lighting, filled the entire mandap with profound spiritual energy.
Divine Features of the Idol:
Seated on the throne, Lord Ganesha’s form looked truly
magnificent, radiant, and divine. Bappa was adorned with an intricately carved
golden crown, elegant attire, and beautiful ornaments. Bappa's serene
countenance and blessing posture made it feel as though He was showering His
grace directly upon the devotees.
Throughout this sacred 1.5-day festival, a steady stream of
relatives, friends, and neighbors visited Amarjeet Kaur’s home. All the
devotees who came for darshan sought Bappa’s blessings and wholeheartedly
praised the grand and devotional decoration done by Tanya Ajit Charndeep Jadhav.
