वरिष्ठ समाजसेवीडॉ. बाबूलाल सिंहके निधन से मुलुंड क्षेत्र में गहरा शोक फैल गया है। डॉ.
सिंह न केवल लोगों के प्रिय डॉक्टर थे, बल्कि समाजसेवा और
राजनीति में भी सक्रिय रहते हुए उन्होंनेस्वयं दो बार नगरसेवक चुनाव भी लड़े थे।
गरीब और जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए
वेमसीहामाने जाते थे। जिनके पास दवाइयों के लिए पैसे नहीं होते थे, उनका इलाज वे बिना शुल्क करते थे और मुफ्त दवाइयाँ भी
उपलब्ध कराते थे।
वे सिर्फ बीमारों का इलाज ही
नहीं करते थे, बल्कि अनेक परिवारों कीमेडिकल मदद, मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र और आवश्यक सरकारी प्रक्रिया में भी नि:स्वार्थ सहायताकरते रहे। सभी समुदायों और वर्गों के लिए उनकी सेवासमान और नि:स्वार्थरही।
