Shri. Sardar Tara Singhji BJP MLA from Mulund Constituency taking charge over the post of CHAIRMAN of Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib, Nanded. This is considered as one of the most holiest Sikh shrine around the world. After 15 long years the post has been offered to an outsider individual who has name and recognition in the field of social service and devotion towards public. This post carries the most strong sentiments of the Sikh community and also considered as the most prominent amongst them. The oath taking ceremony & function was done in the presence of Jatthedar Baba Narinder Singhji and Jatthedar Baba Balwinder Singhji and others from the Gurudwara committee.

Disability Assistance Campaign

-- 34 Children Registered for ‪#‎CochlearImplant Surgery

-- 50 Physically Disabled have been provided with Modern Electronic Artificial Limbs

-- Central Govt. will bear the cost 1 Crore 26 Lakh

Persons with disabilities have been identified and examined for treatment at an event held in ‪#‎SahyadriHighSchool, Bhandup, Mumbai. Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment ‪#‎ThavarchandGahlot , State Housing Minister ‪#‎PrakashMehta, Director of the Institute Ali Yavar Jung A.K. Sinha, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Social Justice Awasthi and North-East Mumbai's MP Dr. ‪#‎KiritSomaiya were present during the event. 468 Registration for the treatment of a variety of people with disabilities were done in a single day.

Cochlear Implant Surgery (treatment on children (deaf by birth) under the age of 10) under Central Government started today. 34 children have been registered will be able to hear after cochlear implant. ‪#‎Cochlear is a modern methods of treatment and the transplant will cost Rs.6 lakh for a child. Consent given to these 34 registered children. ‪#‎CentralGovernment will bear the costs of 1 crore 26 lakh for the surgery.

Dr. Kirit Somaiya's efforts to aware common man about government's Cochlear Implant Surgery as well as the methods of treatment (for children from 0 to 10 years to be able to hear) resulted into today's grand event.

50 people with disabilities were given modern artificial limbs. 43‪#‎MentallyChallenged children have been provided with ‪#‎EducationalKits, 54 disabled have been provided ‪#‎HearingMachines.

कॉकलेअर एमप्लाण्ट सर्जरीसाठी 34 बालकांचे रजिस्ट्रेशन

50 विकलांगांना आधुनिक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक अवयव प्रदान,

1 कोटी 26 लाखांचा खर्च केंद्र सरकार उचलणार

विकलांग व्यक्तींच्या आधुनिक उपचार आणि तपासणीसाठी आज विकलांग सहाय्यता अभियानाचे आज भाडूंप पश्चिमस सह्याद्री हायस्कूलमध्ये आयोजन कऱण्यात आले होते. या अभियानानिमित्त आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या कार्यक्रमाला केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय मंत्री श्री. थावरचंद गेहलोट, राज्याचे गृहनिर्माण मंत्री प्रकाश मेहता, अलिया वर्जन संस्थेचे डायरेक्टर ए.के.सिन्हा, सामाजिक न्याय विभागाचे उपसचिव अवस्थी आणि ईशान्य मुंबईचे खासदार डॉ.किरीट सोमैया उपस्थित होते. सकाळी 10 ते संध्याकाळी 5 वाजेपर्यंतच्या अभियानांतर्गत 468 विकलांग लोकांनी विविध उपचारांसाठी रजिस्ट्रेशन केले.

आजच्या कार्यक्रमाचे विशेष म्हणजे केंद्र सरकारच्या अंतर्गत कोकलिअर एमप्लाण्ट सर्जरी ( जन्मत: मूकबधिर असणा-या 10 वर्षाखालील मुलांवर उपचार) सुरुवात झाली. या 34 मुलांचे रजिस्ट्रेशन झाले असून त्यांच्यावर कर्णावत प्रत्यारोपणामुळे ते ऐकू शकणार आहेत. मूळातच कोकलिअर प्रत्यारोपण ही आधुनिक उपचार पध्दती असून त्यासाठी एका बालकासाठी 6 लाख रुपये खर्च येतो. त्याबाबतचे संमतीपत्र आज 34 गरजूंना देण्यात आले. यासाठी येणारा 1 कोटी 26 लाखाचा खर्च केंद्र सरकार कऱणार आहे.

ईशान्य मुंबईचे खासदार डॉ.किरीट सोमैया यांच्या प्रयत्नाने आज सामान्य लोकांना केंद्र सरकारच्या कॉकलेअर एमप्लाण्ट उपचाराची माहिती मिळाली, तसेच या उपचार पध्दती केल्यामुळे ( 0 ते 10 वर्षापर्यंतच्या मुलांसाठी ऐकू शकणार आहे) हे आजच्या कार्यक्रमाचे मोठे फलित म्हणावे लागेल. तसेच आलिया वर्जन संस्थेसाठी जागा मिळवून देण्यासाठी गृहनिर्माण मंत्री प्रकाश मेहता प्रयत्न करणार आहेत.

या कार्यक्रमाअंतर्गत एकूण 50 विकलांग लोकांना आधुनिक कृत्रिम अवयव प्रदान करण्यात आले. गतिमंद अशा एकूण 43 बालकांना एज्युकेशऩल किटस् आणि 54 लोकांना कानाच्या मशीन्सचे वाटप करण्यात आले.
