Woman loses house for Rs10,000/- only

For 35-year-old Mulund based widow, Rs10,000, taken by her mother-in-law, three years ago, proved costly as she had to lose her house to the general store owner, forcing her to stay on footpath with her five kids.
According to Sunita Panna Solanki, a resident of Patrawala Chawl in Navghar, Mulund, her mother-in-law had borrowed Rs10,000 from Nandlal Gupta, 47, a local shop owner. When Sunita returned home after three years, she saw that Gupta's relatives had occupied the room. Showing a false sale deed, Gupta replied that the room was sold to him. Sunita has approached the home ministry for justice.
