17 AT BHANDUP MEDICINE WAREHOUSE STAFFERS & 53 JOURNOS IN MUMBAI TEST POSITIVE.

Seventeen people working at a 
medicine warehouse in Bhandup have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. There are more than 7,000 chemist shops in Mumbai that have been operating through the lockdown with a skeleton staff.

In the Bhandup case, the owner of the medicine warehouse tested positive for Covid-19 in Navi Mumbai last week. The BMC sealed the warehouse immediately and the employees were screened soon after of which 17 tested positive.
On Friday, a chemist from Dharavi tested positive for coronavirus. He was admitted at the Hinduja hospital and his family members were quarantined immediately. “On Sunday, his mother tested positive," a BMC official said. Chemist and drug associations are now contemplating stricter regulations while conducting their business.

Meanwhile 53 journalists in Mumbai tested positive for COVID19; All are under isolation. Samples of 171 journalists reporting from field,including Photographers,Video Journalists & Reporters,were collected. Most of the positive journalists were asymptomatic. The journalists are on field reporting in the lockdown a they are categorised under the essential services.

Mulund updates on covid 19 cases

मुलुंड में कल देर रात को स्लम में  एक महिला को सास लेने में दिक्कत होने लगी तब वो घर से बाहर फुटपाथ पर आकर बैठ गयी ताकि खुले माहौल में अछे से सास ले सके।  ये लक्षण देख कर किसीने 100 नम्बर पर इत्तला करतेही पोलिस और एम्बुलेंस आ पहुचे और उस महिला को अस्पताल ले जाया गया और उनका रिपोर्ट कोविड 19 पोसिटिव आया है। और वो जहा रहते थे वो मुहल्ला कोरंटीन कर दिया गया है।
