The Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers' Co-operative Society Limited” popularly known as Co-optex is  serving its nationwide customers for the past 80 years. Co-optex is well-known for its contribution in uplifting the livelihood of 2.54 lakh weavers in Tamil Nadu, involved in the tradition of Handloom weaving of silk and cotton products.
In an effort to sustain the development of Industry, Co-optex is striving hard to provide continuous employment to the Handloom weavers, through the production of niche products catering to the demands of the customers.
As a marketing strategy to expand its marketing area, Co-optex has proposed to open New showrooms in market potential places. On this line, a New modernized showroom at No. 56, Munshi Estate, M.G. Road, Mulund (W), Mumbai will be inaugurated by Smt. S. Gokula Indira, B.A.B.L., Hon'ble Minister for Handlooms & Textiles, Government of Tamil Nadu on 12.03.2015 Thursday at 3.30 p.m. Shri Harminder Singh I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Govt., Department of Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi., Shri K.V. Manoharan, President, Co-optex and Shri T. N. Venkatesh I.A.S., Managing Director, Co-optex will also be present on this auspicious function.
A wide range of Silk sarees, Coimbatore Cotton Sarees, Salwar Kameez Kurties, Polycot sarees are the products specially designed to meet the demands of the Mulund area customers will be kept for sale in the Showroom, along with Cotton Bedsheets, Bedspreads, Readymade Shirts, Dhothies, Towels, Jamakkalam which are all the special handloom products of Tamil Nadu.
Co-optex offers Buy 2 Get 1 free Scheme in the newly opened showroom. A Customer can buy any of the two products and for the lowest value of one products, he / she can get a third product absolutely free. Customers can also avail 20% Rebate for single Purchase. The showroom will remain open between 10.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. Co-optex has extended invite to customers to visit their shop and shop enjoy and extend support to the Handloom Weavers of Tamil Nadu.
