Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: Final Candidate List to be Announced Tomorrow Afternoon



 

Mumbai, November 4, 2024: The Maharashtra Assembly election nomination process is nearing completion, with updated figures available as of 6:30 PM today on the Election Commission's official website. Out of the total 10,900 nominations, 1,659 have been rejected, and 6,468 have been accepted. Additionally, 2,773 candidates have withdrawn their nominations so far. Since some election returning centers are still verifying and uploading information, the final list is expected to be released tomorrow afternoon.

In Mulund Assembly Constituency, NCP's Sangita Bharat Vaje has withdrawn her nomination as part of the NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena (UBT) alliance. This leaves a total of 10 candidates in the Mulund race. Similarly, in Bhandup, independent candidate Meenakshi Ashok Patil has withdrawn, reducing the number of candidates to 12 in that constituency.

The Election Commission is expected to release the final list tomorrow afternoon, and we will update you as soon as the official details are available.


महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा निवडणूक 2024: अंतिम उमेदवार यादी उद्या दुपारी होणार जाहीर

मुंबई, 04 नोव्हेंबर 2024: महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा निवडणुकांसाठी उमेदवारी अर्जांची प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होत आली असून, निवडणूक आयोगाच्या अधिकृत संकेतस्थळावर आज सायंकाळी 6:30 वाजेपर्यंतच्या अद्यतनानुसार नवीन आकडेवारी प्राप्त झाली आहे. एकूण 10,900 नामांकनांपैकी 1,659 अर्ज अपात्र ठरले आहेत आणि 6,468 अर्ज मंजूर झाले आहेत. तसेच, माघार घेतलेल्या उमेदवारांची संख्या 2,773 पर्यंत पोहोचली आहे. अद्याप काही निवडणूक परतावा केंद्रांवर माहिती अपलोड करण्याचे काम सुरू असल्यामुळे अंतिम यादी उद्या दुपारी जाहीर केली जाऊ शकते.

मुलुंड विधानसभा मतदारसंघात राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या संगीता भारत वाजे यांनी एनसीपी-काँग्रेस-शिवसेना (UBT) आघाडीच्या अंतर्गत आपले उमेदवारी अर्ज मागे घेतले आहेत. त्यामुळे मुलुंडमध्ये आता एकूण 10 उमेदवार राहिले आहेत. भांडुप विधानसभा मतदारसंघातही एक अपक्ष उमेदवार मीनाक्षी अशोक पाटील यांनी अर्ज मागे घेतल्याने आता भांडुपमध्ये एकूण 12 उमेदवार निवडणुकीच्या मैदानात आहेत.

उद्या दुपारी निवडणूक आयोगाकडून अंतिम यादी जाहीर होण्याची अपेक्षा आहे, आणि अधिकृत आकडेवारी प्राप्त होताच आम्ही तुमच्यापर्यंत माहिती पोहोचवू.

Mumbai, 04 November 2024 : Anticipation across Maharashtra has reached its peak as voters eagerly await the final candidate list for the upcoming Assembly elections, set for November 20, 2024. In an unprecedented show of political participation, 10,900 nominations were submitted for the state’s 288 assembly seats. After a rigorous scrutiny process, the Election Commission approved 9,176 nominations, disqualified 1,640, and received 84 voluntary withdrawals as of November 3.

 

In high-profile constituencies like Mulund (Assembly Constituency 155) and Bhandup (Assembly Constituency 157), all eyes are on the candidates. Mulund initially saw 20 nominations, with 16 approved with four rejections, after scrutiny and 11 expected,  how will withdrawals today then after final list will be prepared. Bhandup’s 15 nominations were all accepted, leading to a lineup of 13 confirmed contenders after the withdrawal period.

 

Today, November 4, marks the last day for withdrawals, with a 3 PM deadline. The final candidate list will be published by this evening, allowing citizens across Maharashtra to see exactly who will represent their constituency on the ballot. Voters are especially keen to analyze candidate backgrounds, as the Election Commission has made each candidate’s full profile accessible online. This includes personal and financial details, criminal records, and any pending legal cases, providing transparency and empowering voters to make well-informed choices.

 

With the vote count scheduled for November 23, Maharashtra’s electorate is on the edge of its seat, ready to choose leaders who will shape the state’s future.

मुंबई, 04 नोव्हेंबर 2024: संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रभर विधानसभा निवडणुकांच्या अंतिम उमेदवार यादीची उत्सुकता शिगेला पोहोचली आहे, ज्या निवडणुका 20 नोव्हेंबर 2024 रोजी होणार आहेत. राज्यातील 288 विधानसभा मतदारसंघांसाठी एकूण 10,900 नामांकन अर्ज सादर झाले होते, यावेळी राजकीय सहभागाचे अभूतपूर्व प्रदर्शन पाहायला मिळाले. काटेकोर छाननी प्रक्रियेनंतर निवडणूक आयोगाने 9,176 नामांकने मंजूर केली, 1,640 नामांकने अपात्र ठरवली आणि 3 नोव्हेंबरपर्यंत 84 उमेदवारांनी स्वेच्छेने माघार घेतली आहे.

 

मुलुंड (विधानसभा मतदारसंघ 155) आणि भांडुप (विधानसभा मतदारसंघ 157) सारख्या प्रमुख मतदारसंघांमध्ये सर्वांचे लक्ष उमेदवारांवर लागले आहे. मुलुंडमध्ये सुरुवातीला 20 नामांकन अर्ज प्राप्त झाले होते, ज्यापैकी 16 मंजूर झाले व 4 अपात्र ठरले. छाननीनंतर 11 उमेदवार अपेक्षित आहेत, आणि आजच्या माघारीच्या प्रक्रियेनंतर अंतिम यादी तयार होईल. भांडुपच्या 15 नामांकने सर्व मंजूर झाली असून, 13 उमेदवार अपेक्षित आहेत.

Mumbai, 31st October 2024 : With the Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled for 20th November 2024, a record-breaking 10,900 nominations were submitted for the state’s 288 assembly seats. Following scrutiny, 9,180 nominations were approved with some multiple also, 1,640 were disqualified, and 80 were withdrawn as of today. 

In Mulund (Assembly Constituency 155), 20 nominations were filed. After scrutiny, 16 nominations were approved with some multiple also, with four rejections, leaving a final lineup of 11 candidates.

Similarly, Bhandup (Assembly Constituency 157) saw 15 nominations submitted. Notably, all were approved with some multiple also, establishing a final list of 13 candidates competing for this constituency. 

The final list of candidates will be published on November 5, 2024, once the withdrawal deadline, set for 4th November 2024 till 3 PM.

The Election Commission of India’s official website https://www.eci.gov.in/ candidate provides comprehensive access to detailed candidate information for all Indian citizens. Go to the website click blinging button of Assembly election Maharashtra then click candidates affidavit then click phase 1, then select your constituency and click filter then finally click pink button on right side of candidate’s details and download their affidavit Each candidate’s affidavit includes essential information such as their address, email, phone number, income sources, bank balance, IT returns, moveable and immovable assets, including those of their family members. This transparency is mandatory for any election nomination. Additionally, candidates must disclose any criminal cases or pending charges, giving voters the resources to make informed decisions about their representatives. 

The eagerly awaited vote count on 23rd November 2024, will determine the composition of the new assembly and the future direction of Maharashtra’s governance.
