Recent exploration activity in the northern region of India uncovered a
skeletal remains of a human of phenomenal size. This region of the
Indian
desert is called the Empty Quarter.


The discovery was made by National Geographic Team (India Division)
with
support from the Indian Army since the area comes under the
jurisdiction of
the Army.


The exploration team also found tablets with inscriptions that stated
that
our Gods of Indian mythological yore, "Brahma" had created people of
phenomenal size the like of which He has not created since. They were
very
tall, big, and very powerful, such that they could put their arms
around a
tree trunk and uproot it. They were created to bring order among us
since
we were always fighting with each other. One of the sons of Bhima of
the
Pandava brothers is also thought of to have been carrying these genes.
Later these people, who were given all the power, turned against all
our
Gods, and transgressed Beyond all boundaries set. As a result they were
destroyed by God Shiva. The Geo Exploration team believe these to be
the
remains of
those people.


Govt. of India has secured the whole area and no one is allowed to
enter
except the Nat Geo personnel. A very small article on this was
published in
TOI Mumbai edition on 22-Apr-2004.

पैसा आणि सोन्याचा मोह कुणालाही सुटत नाही. आजच्या कलियुगात तर अशा मोहापासून दूर रहाणे जरा मुष्कीलचं म्हणावे लागेल. पंरतू याच दुनियेत याला देखील काहीजन अपवाद आहेत. मुलुंड शहरात या अपवादास साजेशी एक घटना घडल्याचे वृत्त आहे. मुलुंड पश्चिमेस स्टेशनजवळ असलेल्या रिक्शा-युनियन कार्यालयात पी मोगेश्वरी नाडर नावाची महिला रडवलेल्या स्थितीत एक तक्रार नोंदविण्यासाठी आली होती. वीस हजार रोख रक्कम आणि तब्बल नऊ तोळे सोने असलेली तिची बॅग घर ते मुलुंड पर्यंत रिक्शा-प्रवास करताना हरविल्याची तिने तक्रार केली होती. युलियन लिडर प्रकाश राऊत यांनी पी नाडर हीची तक्रार नोंदवून घेतली मात्र बॅगेतील ऐवज पहाता सदर बॅग मिळणे मुष्कीलच वाटत होते. इकडे रिक्शा क्रमांक MH03 J 2956 चा चालक दिपक शंकर जाधव स्टेशनचे भाडे सोडून रिक्शाचे थोडे काम करण्यासाठी गॅरेजमध्ये गेला असताना त्याला त्याच्या रिक्शात एक बॅग दिसली. त्यातील ऐवज पाहिल्यानंतर त्याच्यातील चांगला माणूस जागा झाला, त्याने त्या बॅगेसहीत रिक्शा युनियन कार्यालयात नेली. दिपक जाधवची ईमानदारी पाहून युनियन लिडरने रीक्शाचालक जाधवची पाठ थोपटली. तसेच नंतर त्याने दिपक जाधव, बॅगेच्या मालक पी मोगेश्वरी नाडरबाई यांना घेऊन मुलुंड पोलिस ठाण्यात नेले.तिथे व.पो.नि. प्रकाश लांडगे यांच्यासमोर सदर पैसे आणि सोने असलेली बॅग पी. नाडर यांना सुर्पुद केली. आजच्या कलियुगात सर्वात बदनाम असलेल्या रिक्शावाल्यांमध्ये दिपक जाधव सारखे ईमानी रिक्शाचालकांमुळे ईमान अभी बाकी है दोस्त .....असेच म्हणावे लागेल. सध्या दिपक जाधवच्या ईमानदारीची चर्चा मुलुंडमध्ये जोरात सुरू आहे.

मुलुंडच्या राजकारणातही ऑल दि ''बेस्ट''
मुलुंड पुर्व द्रुतगती मार्गावरील हरीओम नगरमधील रहीवाश्यांनी गेली दहा वर्ष, हरीओम नगर ते मुलुंड पूर्व स्टेशन अशी बस-सेवा सुरू करण्याची मागणी बेस्ट प्रशासनाकडे केलेली होती. त्याचे फलित म्हणजे दिनांक 1 जून 2008 रोजी बेस्ट प्रशासनाने सदर बस-सेवा सुरू केली. मात्र या कामाचे श्रेय मुलुंडचे सारे राजकारणी घेण्यासाठी हरीओम नगरमध्ये याच दिवशी बस-सेवेच्या उदघाटनाच्या वेळेस जमा झाले होते.यात कॉंग्रेसचे चरणसिंग सप्रा,डॉ. सोखी, आमदार तारासिंग, शिवसेनेच्या नगरसेविका ज्योती वैती, भाजपाचे मनोज कोटक इत्यादींचा समावेश होता. प्रत्येकजन आपला शिक्का कसा चालेल याचाच प्रयत्न करीत होता. मात्र हरी ओम नगरमधील नागरिकांनी या ढोंगी राजकारण्यांना ऑल दि बेस्ट म्हणत, प्रथमचं सुरू झालेल्या नव्या बेस्ट- बसमधून प्रवास करण्याचा आनंद लुटला.

Hari Om Nagar at Mulund East gets its First BEST Bus Route Started at Mulund after 10 years

Local Shiv Sena, BJP & Congress Leaders to contest with each other to gather credit fo the same .

There was a long pending demand [since pasty 10 years ]from locals regarding provision of a special bus to ferry residents of Hari Om Nagar and nearby to Mulund [East] Station. Their prayers were answered today when a new BEST Bus Route no 495 was initiated by the BEST Committee. What surprised all the residents was the presence of representatives of rival political parties on the same dias, but countering each others claims to gather the credit for providing the much delayed Bus Service.

The Local Shiv Sena, BJP leadership claimed that it was due to their insistent follow up that the Bus Route Was approved, and the Congress MLC, Charan Singh Sapra claimed that it was since recent his appointment as MLC that the process gained pace.

Ex-MP Kirit Sommaiya, MLA Tara Singh,BESt committee Chairman- Pravin Chedda all belonging to BJP shared the dias with Congress Municipal Councilor Mrs. A.K.Sokhi, and MLC Charan Singh Sapra also present were Shiv Sena Municipal Councilor Jyoti Vaity and local Shaka Pramukhs who boarded the New Bus and took a short ride.

The residents of Hari Om Nagar were at first tensed about the inauguration program as they feared occurrence of unpleasant incident due to friction between the rival party workers, but at the end they went home entertained thinking that even the heavy rains during inauguration did not dampen the spirit of the local politicians as sarcastic remarks and claims were made by leaders against each other to claim their share of fame in the inauguration of the new Bus Route.
