Demand Ban on Sale of the authors’ book claimed to be fictional biography of Sonia Gandhi

Mulund, Mumbai, 16^th January 2015 - Irate congress activists from Mumbai (mulund) burnt posters of Javier Moro the author of ‘The Red Sari’. Activists condemned the book labeled as ‘fictional biographical account of Sonia Gandhi's life’ was actually vague distortion of incidents in the life of the Congress President and demanded ban on the book in the country.  Activists alleged “in year 2010 congress workers had protested & stalled the book launch in India during the UPA regime but now it seems elements in NDA government are conniving and facilitating the author & publisher in order to tarnish the image of the congress president”.Rajesh Ingle, General Secretary of Mumbai North East District Congress led the protest.

Block President Vijay Hadkar, Youth Congress Secretary Santosh Sonawane, OBC Cell District President Arvind Mondkar, District Secretary Ravindra Mohite, Govind Gohil, Ajay Singh, Kartik Mudaliyaar, Arvind Bhardwaj, Vaibhav Sathe, Roopchand Kanthe, Uttam Sarvaiya, Aniul Singh were present along with others.

 सोनिया गांधींच्या काल्पनिक जीवनचरित्र असल्याचा दावा  करणाऱ्या लेखकाच्या त्या पुस्तकाच्या विक्रीवर बंदीची मागणी

मुलुंड, मुंबई, १६ जनवरी २०१५ - सोनिया गांधी यांच्या काल्पनिक जीवनचरित्राचे लेखक हाविअर मोरो यांच्या विरोधात मुंबईतील (मुलुंड) कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्त्यांनी निषेध व्यक्त करीत त्यांचे छायाचित्र दहन केले. कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्त्यांचा आरोप आहे कि ‘द रेड सारी’ ह्या पुस्तकात  मोरो ह्यांनी आपले व्यावसायिक हित जपण्यासाठी घटनांनाचे काल्पनिक व अतिरंजित प्रस्तुतीकरण  करून कॉंग्रेस अध्यक्षांची प्रतिमा मलीन करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. सदर पुस्तक विक्रीस भारतात बंदी करण्याची मागणी कार्यकर्त्यांनी ह्या वेळी केली. साल २०१० मध्ये यु.पी.ए. च्या काळात देखील मोरो ने सादर पुस्तक भारतात आणण्याचे प्रयत्न केले होते मात्र त्यावेळीही कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्त्यांच्या विरोधामुळे ते शक्य झाले नाही. मात्र केंद्रात एन.डी.ए. ची सत्ता येताच मोरो ने त्याचे पुस्तक भारतात विक्रीस उपलब्ध करण्याचे ठरवले असून एन.डी.ए. सरकारचे चे घटक कॉंग्रेस अध्यक्षांची प्रतिमा मलीन व्हावी ह्या हेतूने सदर लेखक व प्रकाशकास मदत करीत असल्याचा आरोप देखील कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्त्यांनी केला. ईशान्य मुंबई जिल्हा कॉंग्रेस चे सरचिटणीस राजेश इंगळे ह्यांच्या नेतृत्वात हा निषेध करण्यात आला.

सोनिया गांधी के काल्पनिक जीवनचरित्र होने का दावा कर रहे लेखक की उस पुस्तक को प्रतिबंधित करने की मांग

मुलुंड, मुंबई, १६ जानेवारी २०१५ - सोनिया गांधी के काल्पनिक जीवनचरित्र के लेखक हाविअर मोरो के खिलाफ मुंबई (मुलुंड) में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा विरोधप्रदर्शन करते हुये उनके छायाचित्र का दहन कियागया। कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कहा “मोरो द्वारा लिखित ‘द रेड सारी’ इस पुस्तक में अपने व्यावसायिक हितो का ध्यान रखते हुए कॉंग्रेस अध्यक्षा के जीवन से जुडी वास्तविक घटनाओं को काल्पनिक और अतिरंजित रूप से प्रस्तुत करते हुए उनकी छवि कको मलीन करणे का प्रयास किया है। इस पुस्तक कि वितरण पर बंदी कि मांग  काँग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओ द्वारा कि गयी । सन २०१० के  यु.पी.ए. के शासनकाल मे भी मोरो ने इसी पुस्तक को भारत मे वितरीत करने का प्रयास किया परंतु कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओ के तीव्र विरोध के चलते वह संभाव नही हो पाया । परंतु आज जब केंद्र मे एन.डी.ए. की सरकार रहते मोरो ने उसी पुस्तक को भारत मे प्रकाशित करने का मन बनाया है और सत्ताधारी पक्ष के लोग कॉंग्रेस अध्यक्षा की प्रतिमा मलीन करने के हेतू से प्रेरित होकर लेखक और प्रकाशक को मदद कर रहे है यह आरोप भी उपस्थित कार्यकर्ताओं ने किया । ईशान्य मुंबई जिला कांग्रेस के महासचिव राजेश इंगले के नेतृत्व में यह निषेध आयोजित किया गया।

POLICE ARRESTS MAHARASHTRA CONGRESS TRADE UNION OFFICE BEARER (INTUC) AFTER HE THREATENS TO KILL A PHOTO JOURNALIST.

Journalists Question Political Leaders of Patronage to Such Criminal Elements.

Nitin Maniar a freelance photo journalist received death threats from a local goon, affiliated with the Maharashtra congress party for refusing to give away photographs he had clicked, on 1^st December 2014, of an accidental death of an electrician working with marathon developers in Mulund (published in newspapers on 2^nd Dec 2014). The accused Mitesh Thakkar claims affiliation to the labor wing of the congress party as a Secretary of Maharashtra INTUC Congress and is a resident of Thane. Mitesh had called upon Nitin Maniar and sought all photos ‘on the site photographs’ of the deceased electrician. Maniar questioned the objective of seeking the photographs and refused to share the same after sensing Mitesh Thakkars doubtful intentions to misuse the photos. Thakkar threatened Maniar with dire consequences if he refused to share the photos after which Maniar headed straight to the local Mulund police station to lodge a complaint against Mitesh.  The duty officer of Mulund police station Police Sub Inspector Mrs Bhagat registered a non cognizable offence against Thakkar and called to warn him. Thakkar was arrogant and instead of apologizing he threatened Maniar again in front of the lady duty officer and left; which was noted down as a remark by the police sub inspector.

While Maniar was leaving to his office he was stopped by Thakkar, barely a few meters from the police station, and abused him with expletives while boasting of his political status & connections with congress party political bigwigs. Thakkar left only after threatening to kill Maniar by breaking his legs and throwing him on railway tracks in front of a running train. Maniar immediately returned to the Police Station and sought intervention of the Senior Police Inspector Mr. Vanmane who in turn instructed the Police Sub Inspector Ms. Bhagat to register an FIR against Mitesh Thakkar under IPC sections 341, 504 & 506 (2). Mitesh Thakkar has been arrested by the Mulund Police Station.

Maniar says, he will approach all the congress leaders with a memorandum & seek their response to the political patronage extended to such elements who unabashedly threaten press representatives. After the news spread about the threat to Maniar local press belonging to the print & electronic media came in support of Maniar and condemned the incident and sought strict action against the accused.
