India Wins T20 World Cup 2026: A Historic Moment in Indian Cricket
On 8 March 2026, India added another proud chapter to its cricket history by winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. In the final, India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs, delivering one of the most dominant performances in a World Cup final.
India’s batting set the tone early. Sanju Samson played a powerful innings while Ishan Kishan gave the team a fast start. Their partnership helped India post a strong total on the board.
In the second innings, India’s bowlers took complete control. Jasprit Bumrah led the attack with a brilliant spell that broke New Zealand’s batting lineup, while Axar Patel provided key support. The disciplined bowling ensured India sealed the victory comfortably.

Distribution of Natural Holi Colours by T-Ward BMC in Mulund
Mulund (West): On the eve of Holi, the T-Ward office of
the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mulund launched a
“Chemical-Free Holi” campaign, keeping environmental protection and public
health safety in mind.
On this occasion, a special stall was set up within the
T-Ward office premises to create awareness among citizens about chemical-free
colours. Natural Holi colours were also distributed free of cost to the public
as part of the initiative.
